Trippy splashes of color, miniscule tight line work, flora and fauna, overwhelming patterning, influence of the American West….this is what I can obsess over on paper, canvas, wood, hell I’ll even paint on old bones.

I’ve always been intrigued by the natural environment - so much of it driven by wonder and fear. I grew up in awe of the mountains and wild things that lived there, but with that I’ve always been quite fearful when exploring wilderness. Perhaps this is a result of a disconnect I feel? My art is an attempt to honor nature and to explore my emotional and psychological responses (and reconnection) to the natural world.

I grew up in the suburbs of Littleton, Colorado and received a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2010. I have lived in Utah since 2013 and enjoy the diverse landscape of the American southwest.
